This Friday, May 26, Mayor Baraka will proceed with his initiative to bring government to Newark residents, the “Baraka Train,” for the second time. The Baraka Train will consist of a citywide caravan throughout the city’s five wards to engage residents, and provide important information and services. The event will take place from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

If you are interested in participating in the caravan and being an ambassador for your city please call: 973-733-5962. Also, all Directors are encouraged to assign one representative from each department to participate in the Baraka Train every last Friday of the month. Please respond back via e-mail with the names of the employees who have been selected to participate.
