The summit will also explain the development process to help residents better understand the costs and benefits of owning a new home. Mayor Baraka will discuss the City’s initiatives to make homeownership more widespread in Newark. “With economic growth accelerating in Newark, we want to ensure that residents across our city are empowered with the information and resources to benefit from our progress. This is about residents living in a vibrant community and having the opportunity to become homeowners. This Housing Summit is a step in the right direction,” said Mayor Baraka.
