o Newark:

 8 more positive cases than Wednesday, and a total of 850 since June 30th.

 No new deaths since last Wednesday; a total of 33 since June 30th.

o NJ:

 A total of 195,888 positive cases, which is 898 more than Wednesday.

 A total 14,234 deaths, which is 14 more than Wednesday.

o Globally:

 There have been more than 28 million positive cases (28,553,262)

 There have been more than 970,000 deaths (971,081)

o US:

 There have been more than 6.6 million positive cases (6,612,515)

 More than 196,000 deaths (196,856)

This calculation is based on the method that we have done for the past few months and not the method that the State is using for its reporting.

o Test Positivity Rates (As of September 7th):

 Newark 1.82% (last week 1.44% on August 29th)
