• CENSUS – SEPTEMBER 30TH DEADLINE
Thanks to the Newark residents who came out and got counted for the Census in front of City Hall this afternoon, where we gave out 150 ShopRite gift cards.
Remember that if you haven’t completed yours yet, you can get assistance outside of the Newark Public Library Main Branch tomorrow between 11:30AM and 2:30PM (and every Mon-Wed-Fri). We are distributing the $50 gift cards then as well.
The NEWARK CENSUS SELFIE CONTEST that the Mayor previously mentioned has a $1,000 prize for the best creative selfie:
• 1) Fill out the Census form online
• 2) Take a creative selfie as proof it has been completed
• 3) Email to NEWARKCOUNTS@GMAIL.COM with a #NewarkCounts hashtag.

Don’t forget to come out on Saturday for the Census Train— fun for a purpose to include a float, DJ and giveaways
