o Newark:

 40 more positive cases than Wednesday, and a total of 1,131 since June 30th.

 No new deaths; a total of 37 since June 30th.

o NJ:

 A total of 206,629 positive cases, which is

1,354 more than Wednesday, September 30.

 A total 14,344 deaths, which is

9 more than Wednesday, September 30.

o GLOBALLY: more than 34.6M cases, more than 1M deaths

o US: More than 7.4M cases, more than 212,000 deaths

This calculation is based on the method that we have done for the past few months and not the method that the State is using for its reporting.

• TEST POSITIVITY RATES (AS OF SEPT 28) :

 Newark 4.78% as of Sept 28 (vs Sept 21 was 2.73%)

 NJ 2.47% as of Sept 28 (vs Sept 21 was 2.22%)
