• ELECTION

o The Mayor thanked all Newarkers who voted in this historic election and extended congratulations to Senator Booker, Congressman Sires, and Congressman Payne.

o Biden currently has 3 million more popular votes than Trump – and votes are still being counted.

• HERE ARE OUR NUMBERS TODAY

o NEWARK:

 343 more positive cases than Monday, and a total of 3,963 since June 30th.

(average of 171 new cases per day)

 No new deaths; a total of 44 since June 30th.

o NJ:

 A total of 245,257 positive cases, which is 4,260 more than Monday, November 2 (average of 2,130 new cases per day).

 A total of 14,591 deaths, which is 27 more since Monday, November 2.

• POP-UP TESTING SITES (3:30PM-8PM)

 Monday, November 4:

220 Mount Vernon Place

 Friday, November 6:

West Side High (403 South Orange Ave.)

 We’re still working on setting up more pop-ups.

 In October alone, we tested 25,068 people.

 Today, we also welcomed home people returning from prison and tested close to 50.
