 Today’s pop-up on Congress Street was cancelled due to the weather.

• TENANT RIGHTS TOWN HALL, NEXT WEEK

 Next Wednesday evening, July 15th at 7PM, the City Office of Tenant Legal Services in collaboration with Ironbound Community Corp and other tenant rights groups will be holding another tenant rights town hall.  

 The purpose of the town hall is to Update tenants on recent developments in the courts regarding evictions and remind tenants of the legal protections enacted by the City and State.

• EMERGENCY FUNDING FOR HOME-BASED BUSINESSES

 The deadline for applying for Emergency COVID-19 Home-Based Business Grants has been extended to July 31.

 Eligibility: home-based business in Newark; 10 employees or less; evidence of loss due to COVID-19; state or federal corporate registration or licenses, among other qualifications.
