• SCALING BACK
Back when we were working on reopening guidelines, we had anticipated we would be beyond Phase 4 and into the New Normal by now. Phase 4 was to end July 26.
Instead we’re scaling back.
Gov. Murphy announced today that we’ll be in the stage for another 30 days, “We are retightening the restriction on indoor gatherings…
Until further notice, indoor gatherings are now limited to 25% of a room’s capacity – with a MAXIMUM of 25 persons, down from 100.
To be clear, this tightening caps indoor house parties at 25 people.”
Mayor said in Newark it should be no more than 10-15 people – be careful.
Starting this Sunday, everything must close by 8PM (with the exception of supermarkets and pharmacies).
Mayor said that he would advise everyone to have children stay home from school at this rate.
• KEEP YOURSELF AND OTHERS SAFE
Let’s get back on track with doing the things to keep yourself and others safe—
Wear masks/face coverings. Gloves are strongly recommended (be sure to throw them away in the garbage and not on the street).
Wash your hands with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.
Practice social distancing and minimize spending time in a crowded environment.
Cover your sneeze or cough.
Avoid touching your face.
Get tested to know your status.
