Due to Expected Severe Weather Conditions Wednesday, March 21, City Hall Will Close at 10AM

According to weather forecasts we are expected to receive 12" to 16" of snow. Light snow will begin tonight with rain and wind, turning into at wintery mix tomorrow morning. Toward the middle of the day strong winds and heavy snow are expected. The heavy snow and strong winds increase the possibility of power outages and fallen trees.

Due to the expected severe weather conditions, March 21, City Hall will close at 12PM. Trash, recycling, bulk collection and street sweeping are cancelled. The Municipal Council Meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, March 27, 10AM. All residents must park on the odd side of the street for snow removal. Cars parked on roads with a "NO PARKING WHEN ROAD IS SNOW COVERED" sign will be ticketed and towed.

Newark Municipal Court will open tomorrow morning at 8:30AM. The court will have 8:30 its morning sessions but in anticipation of the 12:00pm snow storm closing, the Municipal Court will be cancelling our 11:30AM and 4:00PM court sessions.
