City of Newark and The BrazUSA Cultural Center to Host Annual Brazilian Flag Raising Ceremony

Newark, NJ—August 30, 2017—Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Newark Municipal Council Members, CEO and President of Brazusa and the Brazilian Day Festival Jose Moreira, and the Brazilian community will host the Annual Brazilian flag raising ceremony to honor that nation, today, Wednesday, August 30, at 6 p.m., in the City Hall First Floor Rotunda, 920 Broad Street.

Attendees will be able to enjoy a presentation filled with music, cultural dance performances, and a fashion show as the Brazilian community proudly celebrates their heritage. Food and refreshments will be served.
