Mayor Ras J Baraka, National Action Network President and Founder Rev. Al Sharpton, And Panasonic North America CEO Joseph Taylor Unveil the National Action Network Newark Tech Center

Mayor Ras J. Baraka, National Action Network President and Founder Rev. Al Sharpton, and Panasonic Corporation of North America CEO Joseph M. Taylor will unveil the National Action Network Newark Tech Center on Thursday, September 22, at 10 a.m., at 400 Hawthorne Avenue, in Newark’s South Ward.  

The tech center will work to bridge the technological divide in America’s under-served inner cities by offering after-school enrichment opportunities for Newark students and community members at the old South Ward Boys & Girls Club. The center is a partnership between the City of Newark, Panasonic, and the National Action Network.
