Mayor Baraka and Newark Clergy to hold Second Annual City-wide Spiritual Engagement

Mayor Ras J. Baraka, Mayoral Aide for Clergy Affairs Rev. Louise Scott-Rountree, and clergy members from across the City of Newark will participate in the “City-Wide Spiritual Engagement” on Saturday, May 21, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in four of the City’s Wards.

Clergy members and municipal leaders will take to the streets to spread messages of peace and unity, while also providing information about municipal, private, and faith-based programs and initiatives for residents of all ages.

In addition, there will be performances by musical groups, including choirs.
