The City of Newark is experiencing a Winter Storm Advisory. Throughout the duration of this incident -- we expect the City to encounter high winds that may cause some power outages as well downed tree limbs and branches. Heavy rain may limit visibility while driving and localized flooding is expected in flood prone areas. We ask our residents to stay indoors if possible and if you must venture out, please take precautionary measures while walking or driving this afternoon and evening. This weather advisory will remain in effect until 1 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24th. Thank you
